Thanks for the misplaced attitude. I'm assuming you don't have Vision Care insurance, otherwise you'd have your glasses fixed. Perhaps you could try the Thurnok's TP Blocks section?
Was working on a project for a friend, but this week had operational issues at work, had to work late 3 days this week already, really took the fun away.. LOL
You will find all of my Tiny Portal block code snippets here. Support for my block code is also provided here. You can also post your own block code here as you wish! Register to test run my blocks in Admin mode.
Inside the forum you will find all my current blocks. Here is a current list as of this writing:
Custom Page - Allows you to provide members with a
website of their choice embedded in your site in either an article or
center block. Each member can have their own page, or select a page
from another member who's page is marked as public.
Linkit!
- A member submittable link block. Allow your members to add links that
are displayed in a block of your choice. Give ADD/EDIT/DELETE
privileges to membergroups you designate.
Linkit! Center
- A modified version of Linkit! specifically made for a center block or
article. It allows you to configure the number of columns of links
displayed instead of a single link per line.
America's Army Server Info - A block that lets you gather player and server info for an America's Army server of your choice.
Custom Post Prefills
- A block that stores post prefill info in the database that can then
be used with my SMF Post Prefills hack to display the prefill
information for a particular board in any member's new topic. This is
most usefull for support boards where you would like certain questions
to be answered - so you can have them automatically "prefill" in the
user's post edit box when they create a new topic using this block/hack
combo.
Guest Page View Limit - Allows you to redirect a guest to the registration page after a set amount of page views on your site.
SMF Gallery Random Picture
- This block allows you to display one or more random pictures from
your SMF Gallery mod in any type of phpblock
(left/right/center/frontpage/article). It allows for multiple columns
and multiple pictures as well as other information about the picture.
As a registered member you have access to the code as well as being able to view the code in action (demo).
What I'm currently working on as far as TP Blocks:
Classified Ads block -
This is actually a series of 5 blocks. The blocks together make up the
Classified Ads block set. This block set will allow an Admin to
configure Classified Ads that can be purchased by members based on
pricing set for small/medium/large ads. The buyer?s will have a bank
that stores the amount of money they have sent to the Admin for
purchasing Advertising space to which they can then purchase ads of
various sizes to be posted on the site. The ads can fall into any
number of Categories / Subcategories set by the Admin.
Classified Ads Configuration block - This allows
the Admin to configure the sizes of ads, how much they cost, how long
they can run for, whether a buyer can owe money, if they are
preapproved or require admin approval before placed in public view, etc.
Buyer Configuration block - This block is used to set Buyer config settings (bank amount, can owe, auto-approved, etc).
Ad Category Configuration block - This block is for managing Categories/Subcategories.
Ad Purchase block
- This is where a buyer adds/edits their purchased Classified Ad. It
allows them to modify the various fields that make up an ad (name,
address, phone, email, title, description, etc.)
Classified Ads Display block - This is the main display block that all of your site members/visitors see displaying the approved Classified Ads.
Progress Report: (On Hold) - This may become a TP module instead of a series of blocks.
Classified Ads Configuration block - Complete!
Buyer Configuration block - Complete!
Category Configuration block - Complete!
Ad Purchase block - 90%
Ad Display block - 15%
Total Progress: approx. 80%
MyNotes block - Will allow
your members to have their own little notepad with any number of
noteboxes each with their own title. Members will be able to post notes
to themselves and at any time add/edit/delete them. They are stored in
their own table in your TP/SMF database so they are not lost after a
session.
